FromSoftware recently released a massive patch for Elden Ring to address some of the game’s issues, including fixes for numerous glitches, performance issues, and other quality of life changes the game lacked at launch.<\/p>\n

Interestingly, Elden Ring patch 1.03<\/a> also added new content to the game, such as new NPCs and questlines. You will also find NPC markers on the map for those you have discovered in the Lands Between. Regarding the newly introduced NPCs, one of them is called Jar Bairn, and here’s where you can find them.<\/p>\n

How to find Jar Bairn NPC in Elden Ring<\/h2>\n

You can find Jar Bairn at Jarburg, located southeast of Eastern Liurnia Lake Shore. To get there, you must travel southeast from the Artist’s Shack (next to the Easter Liurnia Lake Shore grace site) until you reach the end of a cliff.<\/p>\n

Once you are at the cliff, you will notice a pathway leading to a small village. Make your way down the path, and you will find several friendly potheads just sitting idly, including Jar Bairn by a house.<\/p>\n

Elden Ring – Jar Bairn Questline<\/h2>\n

Once you have found the potheads, talk to them, and they will ask you whether you will be the new Potentate. Of course, they will reject you immediately, but don’t be dissuaded from talking to them once again after resting at the Site of Grace<\/a> to trigger another dialogue.<\/p>\n

Every time you rest at the Site of Grace, a new dialogue option appears with Jar Bairn. Soon, you will exhaust the discussions, and Jar will begin telling you about poachers, the people who smash and destroy jars.<\/p>\n

To progress beyond this, you first must complete Iron Fist Alexander’s questline, who you will first meet north of the Agheel Lake North Site of Grace. Next, you will also have to progress Diallos’ questline, who you first meet at the Roundtable Hold<\/a>.<\/p>\n
