On the one hand, it delivers an incredibly polished and satisfying shooter experience. On the other hand, there are progression and monetization issues, not to mention the sheer lack of new and meaningful content.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">343 Industries are keenly aware of the many issues that currently plague <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/halo\/halo-infinite-season-1-battle-pass-release-date-cost-rewards-and-more\">Halo Infinite<\/a>, and are working on releasing new content and fixes for the game. The company just dropped a 1.3 GB mid-season update that focuses primarily on making some quality-of-life changes to the game. It&#8217;s an important time for the game developers to have the title performing at its peak as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/halo\/halo-series-paramount-plus-viewership-record\">Halo TV series has been off to a great start<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/halo\/halo-tv-series-release-date-cast-trailer-synopsis-and-more\"><strong>Halo TV series: Release date, cast, trailer, synopsis, and more<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/halo\/halo-infinite-new-multiplayer-maps-leaked\">Halo Infinite new multiplayer maps leaked<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/halo\/343-to-reduce-pricing-of-halo-infinite-cosmetics\">343 to reduce pricing of Halo Infinite cosmetics<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/halo\/343-to-reduce-pricing-of-halo-infinite-cosmetics\">Halo Infinite Tactical Ops event end date<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Both Multiplayer and Campaign (singleplayer) have changes on hand as 343 attempts to clean up the title.<\/span> Here are all the details on the patch notes for dedicated Halo Infinite players to dig into.<\/p>\n<h3><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Multiplayer<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Improved cheat detection and other anti-cheat improvements.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Sound effects for receiving damage as well as enemy footsteps and gunfire are now louder in multiplayer&#8217;s audio mix.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Combat Sensor&#8217;s range has increased from 18 meters to 24 meters in Big Team Battle (BTB).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Added new telemetry to help our developers gather more information on shot registration issues. Read the development team&#8217;s in-depth analysis of these issues and their plans for future mitigations: Halo Infinite&#8217;s Online Experience.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">After receiving a matchmaking ban, players can select the Play button in any matchmaking playlist to see when their ban will end. This expiration time will be in the MM\/DD\/YY format and PT time.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Optimal Polish Initiated armor coating is now available for all players who have submitted a valid code on Halo Waypoint.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Players standing on destroyed vehicles will no longer experience stuttering or desyncs.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Matchmaking playlists now reflect accurate Estimated Wait times.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Post-Game Carnage Report (PGCR) will now reflect the correct winning team after online matches.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Global<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">First-person animations, including reloading and clambering, now appear smoother at all framerates.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The following sound effects are louder in the audio mix for both multiplayer and campaign:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Enemies throwing grenades<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Needler&#8217;s supercombine<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Player Ravager completing its charge<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Multiple improvements to Quick Resume on Xbox Series X|S consoles including increased reliability of reconnecting to Halo Infinite&#8217;s multiplayer and customization services. Players who have purchased Halo Infinite&#8217;s campaign digitally should also see less prompts to purchase Campaign after using Quick Resume.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Players who did not receive an Achievement after completing its requirements should see it unlock after updating and launching Halo Infinite.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Improvements to Dolby Vision High Dynamic Range (HDR) output on Xbox Series X|S consoles.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Color accuracy improvements when playing on a PC with an AMD GPU and FreeSync capable monitor(s).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Stability improvements for Xbox One consoles.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Launching Halo Infinite with an out-of-date PC graphics driver will now direct players to download Halo Support&#8217;s recommended drivers.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">PCs with Intel Integrated Graphics hardware may experience less graphical corruptions.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Campaign<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Improvements to Campaign&#8217;s save system to prevent data loss.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Interactive items, such as uncollected audio logs and ammo crates, now have their intended sound and visual effects after completing the Campaign&#8217;s final mission.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The description of Forerunner Artifacts now appears correctly when playing in a language other than English.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Known Issues<br \/><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">This update includes one new known issue:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Bot Bootcamp matchmaking playlist has an inaccurate Estimated Wait time.
