Settings tricks are constantly being worked through for games like Call of Duty Warzone Pacific, and recently, COD streamer JGOD gave an incredibly detailed guide on how to truly master aiming and tracking in the battle royale. Not only does he give players tips on better settings for the aim on the sticks, but he goes in-depth on the fundamentals of gameplay as well.

Keyboard and mouse users should note now that most of the video is geared towards controller players. The fundamentals will still apply, but JGOD explains why both peripherals cannot use the exact same movements or methods to better their aiming and tracking.

The video begins with JGOD outlining the settings he uses to improve his aiming and tracking in Warzone Pacific. The tricks to controlling recoil and staying accurate will be detailed first.

According to JGOD, you must always learn the recoil pattern of the weapon you are using before doing anything else. Stand at mid-range with something like an assault rifle and simply hold the trigger while aimed at a wall. The pattern on the wall is the main recoil pattern.

If the pattern goes up and to the left, then controller players can bring the stick slightly down and to the right. JGOD calls this the zero, and when players find their recoil zero, they can make any further adjustments they need from there.
