The Theater Mechanicus: Stage of Brilliance event comprises four stages, each having two waves that Travelers will need to complete should they wish to claim its rewards. Utilising the mechanic available and the Wondrous Sticks, which should aid you during each battle, there is a chance you can complete each level with a near-perfect score.

Additionally, other unique mechanisms are available in the waves to dispose of your enemies quickly. As such, this Genshin Impact guide will provide all the details for the first stage, Whither the Wind Wends, including stage features, enemy setups and more.

Whither the Wind Wends, the first stage has two waves, namely Show of Force and Enter the Horde. The latter level only unlocks once Show of Force has been completed.

The stage features for the Show of Force wave are the following:

The enemy set up for the Show of Force wave is split up into two routes, each having its corresponding points. The routes for this wave are as follows:

Going into this wave, you’ll need to equip a few Wondrous Sticks, which can be utilised through the waves. These Wondrous Sticks, split into two types, namely Fortune and Mystic Sticks, will assist you greatly during every battle.

You have 120 points to spend on Wondrous Sticks, wisely choosing which sticks you wish to bring. To help you decide, you can view the map layout, enemy lineups and more by selecting the Armory button at the bottom right side of the screen.

We suggest equipping the following Fortune and Mystic Wondrous Sticks:

The second wave, Enter the Horde, has a slightly different setup than the Show of Force level, with more enemies and Wondrous Sticks you can equip.

The stage features for the Enter the Horde wave are similar to the Show of Force waves with some variations, which look as follows:

The enemy set up for the Enter the Horde wave is split up into two routes like the Show of Force level, with their corresponding points. The routes for this wave are as follows:

For this wave, you have 180 points to spend on Fortune and Mystic Wondrous Sticks to choose from that can help you during this battle. We suggest equipping the following Fortune and Mystic Wondrous Sticks:

The strategies for the Show of Force and Enter the Horde waves are vastly different in terms of placement of mechanici and utilising other mechanisms for the waves. For the Show of Force, here’s the best placement for the mechanici are the following:

Start the stage and let the mechanici do all the work. The main plan of action is to be on the top level, shifting between the bridges, while the mechanici on the lower level will take care of the enemies.

Once the slime enemies appear, you’ll want to use the mechanism to close the bridge, which will drop the enemies below. Once the Ruin Guards and Ruin Grader spawn, you’ll need to use the bridge; however, keep in mind there’s a cooldown after using the bridge.

Theater Mechanicus: Stage of Brilliance Whither the Wind Wends – Stage setup
