With the update launching on 12th April 2022, players are advised to save their game progress before the maintenance period and avoid losing their data.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s important to note that this patch update will be made available to players who have purchased the adjacent expansion packs for Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, including A Realm Reborn, Heavensword, Stormblood and Shadowbringers. This guide will summarise all the exciting new content and balance changes in Final Fantasy XIV.<\/p>\n<h2>Final Fantasy XIV 6.1 patch notes &ndash; New content<\/h2>\n<p>The biggest content arrival in the Patch 6.1 update is the new main scenario quests included in the update. This questline does require reaching a specific point in the main scenario questline and holding either Disciple of War or Magic level 90 to play the new content.<\/p>\n<p>The update will also see four role quests added to the game, requiring you to have completed the Endwalker questline and several role quests. This allows you to start at the beginning or in the middle of the Endwalker questline with new role quests added with the new Game+.<\/p>\n<h2>Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker 6.1 patch notes &ndash; Dungeons and trials<\/h2>\n<p>Endwalker will be receiving a new Alliance Raid dungeon, Aglaia, which requires the &#8220;A Mission in Mor Dhona&#8221; quest from the Chronicles of a New Era questline to be completed. You can only claim rewards from this dungeon once a week after duties in Aglaia are completed. These will reset every Tuesday at 1 am PDT.<\/p>\n<p>A new trial will also be included in the patch update arriving for Endwalker, which should truly test your battle skills. To participate in the Ultima&#8217;s Bane Unreal Trial, you&#8217;ll need a Disciple of War or Magic level 90 and an Item Level requirement of 565 and higher.<\/p>\n<h2>Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker 6.1 patch notes &#8211; Optimisations<\/h2>\n<p>Square Enix has outlined numerous quality of life improvements for Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker.
