The 24-year-old, who seemed destined to be a decent squad player, has had an explosive 2021-22 campaign.<\/p>\n<p>In his previous six seasons as a professional footballer, Nkunku only registered 23 goals. Just this season, which is still not quite done, the midfielder that&#8217;s slowly transitioned into an attacking midfielder and forward role has seen the back of the net 30 times.<\/p>\n<p>Elected as Bundesliga Player of the Month in October and February, the French starlet repeated the feat this March, earning himself an unprecedented third <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/fifa\">FIFA 22<\/a> POTM. Naturally, that means a brand-new Squad Building Challenge is available for players to complete.<\/p>\n<p>In total, Nkunku registered one goal and two assists in three matches, making him the recipient of the March POTM.
