Pok&eacute;mon GO&#8217;s Sustainability Week will last from 20th April to 25th April 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s how to join in on Sustainability Week, the Pok&eacute;mon that will be featured, and how Niantic is helping the world by planting trees for a sustainable planet.<\/p>\n<h2>Pok&eacute;mon GO Sustainability Week &#8211; Featured Pok&eacute;mon<\/h2>\n<p>Pok&eacute;mon GO Sustainability Week will introduce some new Pok&eacute;mon to the game and improve the chances of finding other Pok&eacute;mon.<\/p>\n<h3>Pok&eacute;mon Debuts<\/h3>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/bblgRUBlNSUsqpee5SuNNR38G9Pwy4du8h6uYuZhSMs\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9Qb2slQzMlQTltb25fR08vdW5uYW1lZF9fMl8uanBn\" alt=\"unnamed__2_.jpg\" width=\"854\" height=\"480\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption contenteditable=\"false\">Oranguru will make its Pokemon GO debut during Sustainability Week. (Image: Niantic)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>For Sustainability Week, Niantic will add the Normal\/Psychic-type Pok&eacute;mon Oranguru to Pok&eacute;mon GO. Oranguru resembles an orangutan, a critically endangered ape &#8211; making this Pok&eacute;mon a thoughtful pick to introduce during Sustainability Week.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/pokemon\/pokemon-go-fest-2022-dates-cities-events-more\">Pok&eacute;mon GO Fest 2022 &#8211; Dates, cities, events, and more<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/pokemon\/evolve-rhydon-pokemon-legends-arceus\">How to evolve Rhydon in Pok&eacute;mon Legends Arceus<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/pokemon\/pokemon-go-rare-candy-changes\">Players unhappy with Pok&eacute;mon GO changes to Rare Candy<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sustainability Week will also see the debut of Shiny Cherubi, which players may be able to encounter during the event.<\/p>\n<h3>Wild Encounters<\/h3>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/TvI8yoUC-EcnO7fUpx1KYwILXVCofwP08h804CTc2O8\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9Qb2slQzMlQTltb25fR08vU2NyZWVuc2hvdF8zNl9fMV8uanBn\" alt=\"Screenshot_36__1_.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption contenteditable=\"false\">Players will be able to catch Shiny Grimer in the wild. (Image: In-game screenshot)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The following Pok&eacute;mon will be more common in the wild during the event:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oddish<\/li>\n<li>Grimer<\/li>\n<li>Turtwig<\/li>\n<li>Grotle<\/li>\n<li>Cherubi&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Trubbish&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Ferroseed<\/li>\n<li>Oranguru&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Venusaur<\/li>\n<li>Phantump<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All but Grotle, Oranguru, and Phantump will also be available in their Shiny varieties.<\/p>\n<h2>Pok&eacute;mon GO Sustainability Week &#8211; Research<\/h2>\n<p>Pok&eacute;mon GO&#8217;s Sustainability week will feature special research for trainers to complete.<\/p>\n<h3>Timed Research<\/h3>\n<p>On 23rd April, trainers can participate in a Timed Research event. The Timed Research will be split into phases, with each phase taking players 1km further. Two of the Pok&eacute;mon will be Gloom and Weepinbell, but the others have yet to be listed.<\/p>\n<p>Completing the Collection Challenge will earn players an Elite Collector medal, a Mossy Lure Module, and 15 Great Balls.<\/p>\n<h2>Pok&eacute;mon GO Sustainability Week &#8211; Free Items And Bonuses<\/h2>\n<p>The in-game shop will feature a free Event Box: Mossy Lure Module for all players throughout the event.
