The mid-season update version 20.20 for Fortnite<\/a> Chapter 3 Season 2 just went live across all platforms, and players can expect a ton of new changes. Interestingly, this new update coincides with Fortnite’s weekly resets, which means, alongside all the new content that’s out with the latest patch, there are also the new weekly challenges and resistance quests.<\/span><\/p>\n

Week 5 resistance quests continue the ongoing battle between The Seven and the Imagined Order. There are a total of four resistance quests, outside the device uplink ones, in week 5 of Chapter 3 Season 2, each of which will reward you with 23,000 XP. With that said, here are all the week 5 resistance quests and how you can complete them.<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Plant Wiretaps to monitor IO communications.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Recover a Data Drive from Daily Rubble.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Set up a direct relay with the Paradigm near Sanctuary.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Mark weapons of different rarities to show Loopers how to identify them. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    For the first quest, you have to plant Wiretaps at three different locations – The Fortress, Command Cavern, and District Deposit. Wiretaps are these glowy rectangular vertical boxes that are easy to recognize.<\/span><\/p>\n

    For the second quest, you have to recover a Data Drive from Daily Rubble. If you didn’t know, Daily Rubble is a half-submerged airship at the easternmost side of the Daily Bugle. The quest marker will point you towards its exact location, so finding it shouldn’t be that difficult. Data Drives are glowy rectangular horizontal boxes that you will recognize immediately once you’re on the airship.<\/span><\/p>\n
