As Season of the Risen, the first of Year 5 in Destiny 2<\/a>, is winding down, the 2022 Guardian Games will be the last bit of excitement during these last few weeks. <\/p>\n

There’s been no shortage of events throughout season 16, most importantly, the release of the action MMO’s biggest expansion to date, The Witch Queen, in February. Recent weeks have seen the addition of high-end activities such as Trials of Osiris, Iron Banner, GM Nightfalls, and Master raids.<\/p>\n

But what is Destiny’s 2 Guardian Games? Well, if you’re looking for a PvE activity on the lighter side of things, then the 2022 Guardian Games is perfect. Just like its in-game reason for existing, the Games are nothing more than a Class-based friendly competition to see which reigns supreme for an entire year, with their victory celebrated with a small statue on the Tower. <\/p>\n

Of course, there’s more than just pride at stake, including sweet gear for players to earn, regardless of their Class winning the Guardian Games. <\/p>\n

The 2022 Guardian Games officially started on 3rd May with the regularly scheduled weekly reset. <\/p>\n
