In the spirit of the event, Trainers will be given a new challenge for a one-week period.<\/p>\n<p>Pok&eacute;mon GO&#8217;s Retro Cup will offer a new challenge and help players continue their journey through the Battle League. (Picture: Niantic \/ The Pok&eacute;mon Company)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Retro Cup is a part of the Battle League <a href=\"https:\/\/pokemongolive.com\/en\/post\/go-battle-league-interlude-season\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Interlude Season<\/a> and comes with a few rules that players must follow to participate.<\/p>\n<p>Only the first 15 Types are allowed in the Retro Cup which means that Dark, Steel, and Fairy Pok&eacute;mon aren&rsquo;t allowed.
