Halo Infinite<\/span><\/a> Season 1 has been nothing short of a roller coaster. On the one hand, the continuous gameplay continues to be the biggest hook; however, the lack of new content and more tangible progression continues to rob players of any proper incentive to return to the game regularly.<\/span><\/p>\n

343 Industries is now looking ahead and is dedicated to making Halo Infinite the best Halo experience ever. We have already gotten a look at the new maps coming in Season 2, alongside some of the armour cores that will be part of the new battle pass.<\/span><\/p>\n

The latest Season 2 trailer also confirmed the long-rumoured <\/span>Halo Infinite battle royale<\/span><\/a> mode called Last Spartan Standing that will launch alongside two other games modes – Land Grab and King of the Hill. With that said, we now also know 343’s plans for the rest of the year. Here’s the official roadmap for Halo Infinite Season 2 and beyond.<\/span><\/p>\n

Halo Infinite Season 2 kicks off on 3rd May 2022 and continues until 7th November 2022. Players will access the new 100 tier battle pass, three new game modes King of the Hill, Land Grab, and Last Spartan Standing, and two new maps for Catalyst and Breaker at launch.<\/p>\n

The roadmap aims to be as “accurate” as possible; some dates are deadlocked, with more to be confirmed. “<\/span>The roadmap’s timeframe will also expand as we announce longer-term initiatives. In other words, this roadmap is an evolving document, and we’ll let you know when we make changes to it.” <\/span><\/p>\n

A new limited-time event called Fracture: Entrenched (presumably similar in structure to the Fracture: Tenrai event) will run between 24th-30th May 2022. The roadmap doesn’t list out when Fracture: Entrenched will return to Halo Infinite, but given how the Fracture: Tenrai event has continued for six weeks, players could expect something similar with the upcoming season 2 event. <\/span><\/p>\n
