If you’re familiar with the Rocket League<\/a> esports scene in the slightest, you have heard the name “BDS” thrown around next to words like “dynasty”, “legacy” and “dominance” – the highest standard for a team effort.<\/p>\n

It goes without saying that the roster has set a bar that may seem unreachable at times due to the competition getting better or the chemistry getting worse. The Swiss menace decided on the latter, turning the esports scene on its head and poaching one of their toughest opponent’s star players in the process.<\/p>\n

On 26th April, BDS announced the signing of French prodigy Enzo “Seikoo” Grondein, formerly of Team Endpoint, ultimately benching Spanish veteran Marc “MaRc_By_8.” Domingo for the remainder of the RLCS regular season.<\/p>\n

Poaching Seikoo at his young age and uncapped potential is a move that kills two birds with one stone for BDS – completing the French-speaking roster whilst also weakening the competition.<\/p>\n

The Frenchman will join compatriots Evan “M0nkey M00n” Rogez and Alex “Extra” Paoli on a line-up that needs the World Championship win in August to prove their worth.<\/p>\n

The move was made possible during the second and last transfer window of the RLCS campaign, a window that allows teams to add one more player without forfeiting garnered points. Because BDS signed Seikoo but failed to trade Marc during that time period, the Spaniard will have to sit on the bench regardless of any org’s interest or wallet size; despite winning the first-ever RLCS LAN in two years<\/a> less than six months ago where Marc was named MVP.<\/p>\n
