Halo Infinite<\/span><\/a> Season 2 Lone Wolves is all set to bring a brand new 100 tier Battle Pass, new maps, new game modes, and more. Developer 343 Industries has been transparent about everything fans should expect when Season 2 drops and has laid out a tentative roadmap for Halo Infinite in 2022 and beyond<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

In its latest community stream, the developer gave us a detailed look at the Season 2 Battle Pass, and as you would expect, there are plenty of improvements and, unfortunately, drawbacks from the Season 1 Battle Pass.<\/span><\/p>\n

What to expect from Halo Infinite Season 2 Battle Pass?<\/h2>\n

The first thing you will notice in Halo Infinite Season 2 Battle Pass is the sheer amount of free content you can unlock. At the same time, the free content from Season 1’s Battle Pass mostly offered XP boosts and Challenge Swaps, with occasional Armour Coatings or Visors.<\/p>\n

In short, there wasn’t much incentive for freemium players to continue playing. As such, 343 Industries seems to have addressed most criticisms issued by players stemming from Season 1.<\/p>\n

You will notice that free rewards from the beginning include Legendary Kill effects and Rare Knee Pad instead of the overabundance of XP boosts and challenge swaps. At Rank 6, you will unlock the Epic Armour Core Rakshasa, which looks much better than anything you can unlock for free in the Season 1 Battle Pass.<\/p>\n

Similarly, at Rank 11, you will unlock the Rare Helmet Rasetsu that goes well with the Rakshasa Armour Core. The free rewards improve as you level up in the Battle Pass to include Epic Charms, Epic Utility Packs, Rare Helmets, Rare Visors, and more, signalling the free rewards are better than the premium rewards in the early and mid-high ranks.<\/p>\n

Should you buy the Halo Infinite Season 2 Battle Pass?<\/h2>\n

Thankfully, there are some standout rewards in the Season 2 Premium Battle Pass, like the Legendary Armour Kit Sigrid Eklund that you unlock at Rank 30. You’ll notice many XP boosts and Challenge Swaps as premium rewards as you level up.<\/p>\n
