While the circumstances surrounding the delay haven&#8217;t been made public, the dedicated community were left in the dark about what&#8217;s to happen next.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, the developer provided an update, announcing an extension to some of its 2.6 content, including both Character and Weapon Event Wish banners and two events. But what has Travelers excited is the compensation they&#8217;ll be receiving &#8220;for the inconvenience caused&#8221; due to the delay.<\/p>\n<h2>Genshin Impact 2.7 Compensation &ndash; Start date, free rewards and more<\/h2>\n<p>HoYoverse announced on 29th April 2022 that the forthcoming 2.7 update and its subsequent Special program livestream would be delayed indefinitely. This compensation is available to Travelers with an Adventure Rank of 5 and higher, but you&#8217;ve got until 11th May 2022 to attain this rank.<\/p>\n<h2>Genshin Impact 2.6 content extended<\/h2>\n<p>Aside from the free compensation, HoYoverse has extended the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/genshin-impact\/genshin-impact-2-6-banner-schedule\">Character Event Wish banner for Kamisato Ayaka<\/a> as part of the 2.6 update&#8217;s Phase III Events.
