After consistent poor performances in CS:GO<\/a>, Evil Geniuses plan to replace their coaching staff. The North American side will move Damien “⁠maLeK⁠” Marcel to an inactive role. They will also let go of assistant coach Paolo “⁠EVY⁠” Berbudeau and analyst Juan “Hepa” Borges.<\/p>\n

According to the statement<\/a>, Evil Geniuses will look to find new coaching staff to support the current roster appropriately. The organisation mentioned its commitment to informing fans about a new chapter in the upcoming weeks.<\/p>\n

MaLeK joined EG on 24th December 2021. Although he remains under contract with the organisation, the 36-year-old is free to look for new opportunities and establish his career elsewhere.<\/p>\n
