Among other things, Season 17 is making changes to the game&#8217;s PvP aspects.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">In its latest blog post, Bungie confirmed a new PvP map for Season 17, a first for Destiny 2 since 2019. The blog post also listed several changes that Bungie is making to the game&#8217;s Crucible mode. (Picture: Bungie)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Aside from making several changes to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/destiny-2\/destiny-2-iron-banner-season-17-changes\">Iron Banner in Season 17<\/a>, Bungie is also unvaulting game modes and tweaking various aspects of Crucible.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Zone Control is coming back and will go live in week 5 of Season 17 (21st June 2022). It will be accessible via a new Crucible Labs Node. The returning 6v6 mode will be available in all game types except Iron Banner for the rest of Season 17.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Other Crucible changes include:<br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Control<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Team gains 1 point per participant when capturing a zone, rather than 1 flat point. (This is how it was in Destiny 1)<br \/><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Elimination<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Time limit is lowered to 90 seconds to match Trials of Osiris.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Mayhem<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Points for Super kills increased to 3 (previously 2).<br \/><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Increased score target to 200 (previously 150).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Decreased time limit to 7 minutes (previously 8).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Rumble<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Increased time limit to 10 minutes (previously 8).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Showdown<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Increased round score targets to 15 (previously 10).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>This concludes the notes thus far of all the Crucible changes Bungie is making in Destiny 2 Season 17.
