(Picture: Mediatonic)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Fall Guys will be free-to-play on all platforms starting 21st June 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Many fans predicted that Fall Guys would be switching to a free-to-play model, so this update came as no surprise.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Free to play + Fortnite collab?&#8221; One Twitter user accurately predicted in response to Fall Guys&#8217; <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FallGuysGame\/status\/1524758918890770433\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">announcement teaser<\/a> on Twitter.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/fallguys\/fall-guys-season-5-new-stages-limited-time-events-skins-and-more\">Fall Guys Season 5: New stages, limited-time events, skins, and more<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/fallguys\/ninja-fall-guys-skin-how-to-unlock\">Ninja Fall Guys skin: How to unlock<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/fallguys\/mediatonic-reveals-horrifying-reality-and-size-of-fall-guys\">Mediatonic reveals horrifying reality and size of Fall Guys<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/fallguys\/there-s-a-new-fall-guys-feature-that-you-ll-probably-never-see\"><strong>There&#8217;s a new Fall Guys &#8216;feature&#8217; that you&#8217;ll probably never see<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8220;Whether you&rsquo;re on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, the Epic Games Store or a mix of all of the above, you&rsquo;ll be able to play Fall Guys for free &mdash;with cross-play, cross-platform parties and cross-progression fully supported with the use of your Epic Games Account,&#8221; said Fall Guys&#8217; official announcement on their site.<\/p>\n<p>Following this update, Fall Guys will no longer be available for new players to purchase on Steam, but legacy players will be able to continue playing on Steam.<\/p>\n<p>PC players who want to join the fun in Fall Guys will need to grab the game for free from the Epic Games Store.<\/p>\n<h2>Fall Guys coming to Switch and Xbox<\/h2>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/0tDPgstjOYm2qxQH3TzrLj6SR-ELqKGr5vs9iPnAh9k\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9mYWxsZ3V5cy9Db3N0dW1lcy5qcGc\" alt=\"Costumes.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"512\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption contenteditable=\"false\">The release of free-to-play Fall Guys will come with new costumes and a new season. (Image: Fall Guys)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Fall Guys will also be released on Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and Epic Games stores following the announcement. Fall Guys will be available on these platforms starting 21 June.<\/p>\n<p>The game has never been available on these platforms, so it&#8217;s likely that a new influx of users will come with the game&#8217;s release there.<\/p>\n<h2>Fall Guys new season<\/h2>\n<p>Starting June 21, Fall Guys will release a brand new Season 1. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This Free for All season will feature new levels and costumes, including a brand new Season Pass that can be purchased with Show-Bucks. Show-Bucks are a brand new in-game currency, but Legacy players won&#8217;t need them right off the bat; they&#8217;ll get the Season 1 Pass for free.<\/p>\n<p>As always, there will be a free-to-play progression path with limited rewards available to all players.<\/p>\n<h2>Fall Guys free bonuses<\/h2>\n<p>Fall Guys will be offering a number of bonuses both for existing players and those who are interested in joining the free-to-play version.<\/p>\n<h3>Fall Guys legacy pack<\/h3>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/h-ygxTJ705K_MgzvgGlwMH5TRBnAAc2il_9rdXB8G4w\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9mYWxsZ3V5cy9sZWdhY3ktcGFjay1rZXktYXJ0LTE5MjB4MTA4MC00MjUyNGEyZWE5OTcuanBn\" alt=\"legacy-pack-key-art-1920x1080-42524a2ea997.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption contenteditable=\"false\">The Legacy Pack will feature costumes and a Season Pass. (Image: Fall Guys)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Fall Guys will be offering a legacy pack to anyone who purchases the game prior to 21 June, including players who already own the game.<\/p>\n<p>The following bonuses will be included in the legacy pack:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nickname<\/li>\n<li>Nameplate<\/li>\n<li>Regal costume,<\/li>\n<li>Veggie Dog costume<\/li>\n<li>Feisty Dwarf costume<\/li>\n<li>Season Pass for Season 1<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Fall Guys pre-registration bonuses<\/h3>\n<p>Players who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.epicgames.com\/fallguys\/en-US\/free-for-all-pre-registration\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">pre-register<\/a> for Fall Guys&#8217; new free-to-play edition will be rewarded with rewards based on how many players pre-register for the game.<\/p>\n<p>According to the official Fall Guys site:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At 500,000 pre-registration sign-ups, the &ldquo;Keen Bean&rdquo; Nameplate will be unlocked as a reward<\/li>\n<li>At 1 million&nbsp; pre-registration sign-ups, 3,500 Kudos will be unlocked as a reward<\/li>\n<li>At 1.5 million pre-registration sign-ups, the &ldquo;Burgers&rdquo; Pattern will be unlocked as a reward<\/li>\n<li>At 2 million pre-registration sign-ups, the &ldquo;Muscleman&rdquo; Emote will be unlocked as a reward<\/li>\n<li>At 2.5 million pre-registration sign-ups, the &ldquo;Melonhead&rdquo; Costume will be unlocked as a reward<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>That&#8217;s all that we learned from the Fall Guys Big Announcement this week, including that Fall Guys will be free-to-play in the near future.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Want to follow this story as it develops, or check out other Fall Guys tips and guides?
