Mounts are the most versatile companions in V Rising, offering unparalleled efficiency regarding your movement across the game world<\/a>. So continue reading to learn where to find mounts, their stats, and more. No more wandering vulnerable in the darkness—let these majestic creatures be your allies.<\/p>\n

All Horse Locations In V Rising<\/h2>\n

The best location to find a horse in V Rising is in the Dunley Farmlands<\/strong> region of Vardoran. While you will find a horse in various enemy encampments, the best location to get a mount is at the Horse Track in the western part of the Dunley Farmlands.<\/p>\n
Noteworthy, you can also find several horses scattered across the Silverlight Hills<\/strong> area; however, avoiding the high-level enemies lurking there can make acquiring one quite challenging.<\/p>\n
Once you’ve found a horse in V Rising, you’ll need to mount it. To do this, walk up to the horse and hold the interact key (F). Once you’ve mounted the horse, you can ride it back to your castle for safekeeping. While you’re at it, personalize your horse by giving it a name.<\/p>\n
You can do this by clicking the pencil icon in the top-right corner of the horse’s customization menu. You’ll also notice stats in this menu, including your horse’s max speed, acceleration, and rotation speed. In addition, a countdown timer indicates your horse’s remaining lifespan.<\/p>\n

If you fancy keeping your horse alive, you’ll want to stock up its inventory with Water-Filled Canteens. Currently, you cannot add other items to the horse’s inventory, but this feature may be introduced in the upcoming V Rising Gloomrot update.<\/p>\n
While you’re here, it’s worth mentioning that the controls to ride your horse are slightly different from the standard WASD movement controls. Once mounted, you can use W to move forward, A to go left, and D to move right. You can also activate the gallop to move faster by pressing the spacebar. <\/p>\n
