Every evolution of Eevee is finally available in Pokémon GO<\/a>. Still, one of the most popular forms continues to be Espeon, arguably the most desired of the Eeveelutions. Therefore, it’s only natural that Trainers want to know how to evolve their Eevee into Espeon in Pokémon GO.<\/p>\n

Notably, acquiring an Espeon will be impossible if you evolve your Eevee without meeting its unique requirements. Instead, you will be stuck with a gamble between Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon. Interestingly, the evolution process for the Psychic-type version of Eevee is similar to that of Umbreon, albeit with subtle differences.<\/p>\n

There are typically two methods for evolving Eevee into any of its unique evolutions. The first way is by attempting the renaming trick, and the second way is to meet the standard requirements for your target Eeveelution.<\/p>\n

Of course, the naming method is the easiest, but Trainers can only use it once per type. Furthermore, since each Eeveelution has a unique name, this method is the least practical.<\/p>\n

Method 1: Renaming Eevee<\/h3>\n

Nevertheless, if you decide you want an Espeon, the name you need to use on your Eevee is Sakura<\/strong>. This name needs to be set before the evolution occurs, or it won’t count.<\/p>\n

To do this, select your Eevee and tap on the pen icon to set the name. Here you can type the name out and start the evolution. Note: You can’t use this trick for the Psychic-type ever again, but other unused types will still work.<\/p>\n
