The lore reason saw the Darkness consume it alongside several other locations, while in reality, it was Bungie&#8217;s way to avoid Destiny 2 feeling like a chore to download and update for both new and recurring players.<\/p>\n<p>Not all weapons from the Menagerie are confirmed as returning gear, sadly, but the ones that are finally back in the game will definitely excited old-time fans of Destiny 2.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Destiny 2 &#8211; How to get Menagerie weapons in 2022<\/h2>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/1T-lyHw9U6zBeZDbyhOVPcAckY40UOjD-dfjZjLtklU\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9TbWFzaC9OdWV2YV9jYXJwZXRhL21lbmFnZXJpZS5qcGc\" alt=\"menagerie weapons destiny 2\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption contenteditable=\"false\">Season of the Haunted will bring back Menagerie weapons to Destiny 2. (Picture: Bungie)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Out of all the Menagerie gear, four are confirmed to be making their return for Season of the Haunted in Destiny 2, these are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li id=\"menagerie-sniper-rifle-beloved\">Beloved Sniper Rifle<\/li>\n<li>Austringer Hand Cannon<\/li>\n<li>Drang (Baroque) Sidearm<\/li>\n<li>Calus Mini Tool SMG<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A weapon that is yet to be confirmed is the Imperial Decree Shotgun. The Fixed Odds Machine Gun and The Epicurean Fusion Rifle will be part of the Duality dungeon pool.<\/p>\n<p>Getting them requires you to earn Opulent Keys. They can drop from a variety of sources including completing the Nightmare Containment activity in the Leviathan, Destination chests, Haunted Alcove chests, as a reward during the seasonal quest, and by killing powerful enemies inside the Leviathan.<\/p>\n<p>Do note that you can only have one key at a time so farm those guns quickly.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/destiny-2\/destiny2-season-17-patch-notes\"><strong>Destiny 2 Season 17 patch notes &#8211; Increased vault space, progression, more<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/destiny-2\/destiny-2-season-of-the-haunted-season-pass\">Destiny 2 Season of the Haunted Season Pass &#8211; Rewards, Cost, and More<\/a><br \/><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/destiny-2\/destiny-2-season-of-the-haunted\">Destiny 2 officially reveals Season of the Haunted<\/a><br \/><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/destiny-2\/destiny-2-season-17-pvp-map-crucible-changes\">Destiny 2 Season 17 &#8211; New PvP map and Crucible changes<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>One thing worth mentioning is that the Leviathan is a free roam and patrol destination with Season of the Haunted, something veteran Destiny 2 fans have been asking for since the ship made its debut as the location for the game&#8217;s first raid in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>This means that the activity is free for all players to access, regardless of if they bought the Season of the Haunted season pass or not.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/-cLZ8oe7bMnCfs_LRbezHuSOBF68keA5Ad5uoHqFNek\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9TbWFzaC9OdWV2YV9jYXJwZXRhL21lbmFnZXJpZV9zZWFzb25fMTdfZGVzdGlueV8yLmpwZw\" alt=\"destiny 2 menagerie weapons\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption contenteditable=\"false\">The Leviathan is making a return as a free roam location.
