Dead by Daylight has a total of 204 perks for players to choose from, meaning that players have a wide variety of options for how to play the game.<\/p>\n<p>Recent data from Behaviour Interactive, though, suggests that just a few of those perks are used overwhelmingly more than others. These changes, developers said in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/dead-by-daylight\/dead-by-daylight-6th-anniversary-livestream\">6h anniversary stream<\/a>, will encourage more diverse loadouts across killers and survivors.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The following killer perks are the most commonly used perks in Dead by Daylight:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BBQ &amp; Chili (The Cannibal)<\/li>\n<li>Corrupt Intervention (The Plague)<\/li>\n<li>Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance (The Artist)<\/li>\n<li>Hex: Ruin (The Hag)<\/li>\n<li>Pop Goes the Weasel (The Clown)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And the most common survivor perks are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dead Hard (David King)<\/li>\n<li>Borrowed Time (Bill Overbeck)<\/li>\n<li>Decisive Strike (Laurie Strode)<\/li>\n<li>Iron Will (Jake Park)<\/li>\n<li>Self-Care (Claudette Morel)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Every one of these perks, plus more, will face changes.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;It&rsquo;s an intentional attempt to shake things up,&rdquo; said Matt S, Dead by Daylight&rsquo;s Design Director. &ldquo;There have been adjustments to certain controversial perks in the past, but this is the biggest collection of perks being changed at once.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The following graphics display just how common each set of &#8220;meta&#8221; perks are across killers and survivors respectively.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/fiiifROTB6E77XeCJOacggqIPXAR02mjmxb6T1-Ntho\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9EZWFkX2J5X0RheWxpZ2h0L2RiZF9raWxsZXIuanBn\" alt=\"dbd_killer\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/L2f_J3iWPuKhRxbHABhpoO7_d3MfgDf7y1s3hXWFKZs\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9EZWFkX2J5X0RheWxpZ2h0L2RiZF9zdXJ2aXZvci5qcGc\" alt=\"dbd_survivor\" width=\"1024\" height=\"577\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/p>\n<p>These aren&#8217;t the only perks that will undergo changes, though; the team says a total of 40 perks will be updated.
