Like every year, June 2022 will be brimming with new game announcements, release date announcements of previously announced titles, and an overall look at the future of games.<\/p>\n

Summer Game Fest<\/a> and Xbox Games Showcase have already been announced, and now it seems the Japanese publisher Capcom is also looking to be a part of the Summer festivities. <\/p>\n

The Resident Evil and Street Fighter publisher is all set to hold its own event this June if a recent leak is any indication. The leak also revealed a list of upcoming Capcom games that could appear during this upcoming showcase. Here’s when this alleged Capcom summer games showcase would take place alongside the list of games that would appear. <\/p>\n

The aforementioned info comes from notable games journalist and industry insider Roberto Serrano, who took to Twitter to reveal Capcom’s plan for this summer. According to Serrano, Capcom’s event would take place on 13th June 2022 at 2.30 PM PT \/ 5.30 PM ET \/ 11.30 PM CEST.<\/p>\n

Capcom held its E3 2021 showcase on 14th June at the same time last year, so it could do something similar this year. It’s also safe to assume that Capcom would have more games to showcase this year (given the numerous leaks) and give an update on the existing ones when compared to last year.<\/p>\n

    During its E3 2021 showcase, Capcom announced a story DLC for Resident Evil Village. Since then, the company has remained awfully quiet on the subject, and we could get an update on it this summer. <\/p>\n

    Resident Evil Village’s multiplayer counterpart – RE: Verse – which was initially planned to release alongside the game’s single-player campaign – was delayed until 2022. While no release window was provided, an update alongside a new release date should be around the corner. <\/p>\n
