After the success of the first Resident Evil chapter<\/a>, Dead by Daylight<\/a> developers Behaviour Interactive announced during the game’s 6th anniversary stream that they were working on another Resident Evil development, titled “Project W.”<\/p>\n

The announcement came just a week after known dataminer Leaks by Daylight announced that information about a Resident Evil chapter had been leaked, including the possible identities of the survivor and killer.<\/p>\n

After Dead by Daylight’s “Project W” partnership with Resident Evil was announced, fans were quick to assume that the “W” stood for Wesker, as in Albert Wesker,<\/strong> one of Resident Evil’s most prominent antagonists.<\/p>\n

Many assumed that he would be the killer featured in the second Resident Evil chapter in Dead by Daylight.<\/p>\n

“I honestly can’t wait for Albert Wesker,” said one Redditor on the Dead by Daylight subreddit.<\/a> They received almost 300 upvotes.<\/p>\n

    According to known dataminer Leaks by Daylight,<\/a> who has leaked accurate information in the recent past (including the 6th anniversary chapter), Albert Wesker will in fact be the killer for this chapter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
