However, audiences may have to wait a while before they can watch Aloy in her adventures on the popular streaming platform.<\/p>\n<h2>Sony announces Netflix series based on Horizon Zero Dawn<\/h2>\n<p>During the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irwebmeeting.com\/sony\/fast\/20220526\/p5iq973u\/bsb_day1_02_en\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">investors&#8217; meeting<\/a> on 26th May 2022, Sony announced three new television projects for development in its presentation. While the documents only revealed two of these projects, live-action adaptations of Twisted Metal and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/movies\/ghost-of-tsushima-movie-screenwriter-announced\">Ghost of Tsushima<\/a>, the third announced project is Guerrilla Games&#8217; Horizon Zero Dawn.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-twitter-extracted-i165374806075235756=\"true\" data-twitter-extracted-i1653749276398491396=\"true\" data-twitter-extracted-i1653749444264898256=\"true\" data-twitter-extracted-i1653749854149135076=\"true\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Sony IR &#8211; 3 positives in the presentation 1) Horizon (Netflix), God of War (Amazon) and Gran Turismo in TV development 2) 2 live service games coming in FY3\/23 are not Destiny and 3) PC gaming revenues will surge 3.8x in FY3\/23 (which I think relates to live service games) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/sony?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#sony<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; David Gibson (@gibbogame) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/gibbogame\/status\/1529712018520829952?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 26, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\n<script src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" async><\/script>\n<\/p>\n<p>According to gaming and entertainment insider David Gibson, Sony will be teaming up with&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/tv\/stranger-things-4-episode-list-netflix\">Netflix<\/a>&nbsp;to bring Aloy and her world to life. Additionally, Sony announced plans for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/video-games\/god-of-war-devs-encourages-pc-players-to-use-mods\">God of War<\/a> and Gran Turismo adaptations following the success of the Sonic and Uncharted films this year.<\/p>\n<p>As of writing, details on the Horizon Zero Dawn project are pretty scarce; however, it will be interesting to see whether the series will include events from the first two Horizon games or provide an origin story for Aloy.
