A new limited Marvel<\/a> series called Ms Marvel<\/a> is about to air on Disney +, which will introduce audiences to a new superhero in the form of Kamala Khan aka Ms Marvel. But who is Kamala Khan\/Ms Marvel and what superpower does she have?<\/p>\n

Phase 4 of the MCU has leaned and focused heavily on th events after the Endgame and has expanded the existing roaster of known superheroes by adding new ones. Kevin Feige and company have taken creative liberty on several occasions when telling the stories of Marvel superheroes we know and love, forming the MCU we know of today.<\/p>\n

From the trailers, it seems like the upcoming debut of Kamala Khan\/Ms Marvel will follow the same trend, with the production and story team changing a few things while keeping the core of the character.<\/p>\n

In the comics, Kamala Khan is a teenage Pakistani American from Jersey City, New Jersey with shapeshifting capabilities who finds out that she has Inhuman genes in the aftermath of the “Inhumanity” storyline and assumes the mantle of Ms Marvel from her idol Carol Danvers after Carol became Captain Marvel. <\/p>\n

Kamala Khan first appeared in the comic book series Ms Marvel which kicked off in February 2014. The series, written by G. Willow Wilson and drawn by Adrian Alphona, was the first time a Muslim character headlined a book at Marvel Comics.<\/p>\n

However, the Disney+ series appears to take a different route with how Kamala Khan got her superpowers and the trailers have shown Khan using some sort of big cuffs, which gives Kamala her abilities. <\/p>\n
