The list of candidates for the Madden 23 cover athlete are as follows:<\/p>\n<h3>Madden 23 Cover Athlete candidates<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Cooper Kupp<\/strong> &#8211; WR &#8211; Los Angeles Rams<\/li>\n<li><strong>TJ Watt<\/strong> &#8211; DE &#8211; Pittsburgh Steelers<\/li>\n<li><strong>Josh Allen<\/strong> &#8211; QB &#8211; Buffalo Bills<\/li>\n<li><strong>Trevon Diggs<\/strong> &#8211; CB &#8211; Dallas Cowboys<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tom Brady<\/strong> &#8211; QB &#8211; Tampa Bay Buccaneers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All of these players had stellar seasons and each makes a great case to grace the cover of Madden 23. Kupp is coming off a record-setting pass-catching campaign which he capped off with the Super Bowl MVP honors. TJ Watt just tied the single-season sack record en route to winning AFC Defensive Player of the Year.<\/p>\n<p>Josh Allen carried the Bills to within 13 seconds of the Super Bowl after his impressive AFC Championship Game display, only for the Chiefs to steal the victory in overtime. Trevon Diggs led the league in interceptions with 11 in just his second season as a professional. And of course, Tom Brady, who many thought was finally calling it a career.
