One of the first orders of business is for EA Sports to unveil the cover of the new title as Madden 23 will be upon us very soon.<\/p>\n<p>After <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/madden-22\/madden-23-cover-athlete-reveal-announced\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">teasing the Madden 23 Cover Athlete Reveal<\/a> for the morning of 1st June, millions around the world were waiting on edge to see who would be the face of the new title. While EA Sports provided five cover-athlete candidates, it appears they were just a smokescreen for a very special and nostalgic surprise. To honor the legend, EA Sports has selected John Madden to grace the cover of Madden 23.
