Or am I the only one having bad luck?&#8221; Twitter user ileana_828 added in the thread. &#8220;Because spending that much money to only get a Shamin is a little much and I&#8217;m really regretting spending the money.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Shiny rates during 2021 were heavily boosted for ticket holders, and 2022 was meant to follow suit according to Niantic, but many trainers claim this wasn&#8217;t the case.<\/p>\n<h3>Pok&eacute;mon GO Fest 2022 &#8211; Glitches and bugs<\/h3>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/IdRZAYLqh2PvHRXcUVhHqpITvG1IzpF97kJhOZUJrVU\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9Qb2slQzMlQTltb25fR08vUG9rZW1vbl9Hb19GZXN0XzMuanBn\" alt=\"Pokemon_Go_Fest_3.jpg\" width=\"720\" height=\"826\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption contenteditable=\"false\">Trainers ran into numerous technical problems during the event. (Image: Twitter)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Technical issues like glitches and bugs were abounded, too, causing even more issues past the low Shiny rate.&nbsp;&#8220;I can&#8217;t speak to the spawn rate as there were massive numbers of &#8216;glitched&#8217; &#8216;mon which simply despawned when touched,&#8221; user Tigris_Morte explained on Reddit.<\/p>\n<p>Others pointed out that because Team Rocket Grunts on the map were disabled, they were unable to interact with any Pok&eacute;mon which overlapped with them.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/pokemongo\/comments\/v59m9b\/go_fest_22_was_disappointing_for_a_lot_more\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">A lengthy post<\/a> on the \/r\/PokemonGo subreddit by Reddit user geeduhb outlined all of the major problems with the event, including an overall lack of content in addition to the lack of Shinies and the constant bugs. The post received 7 rewards and over 1 thousand upvotes.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;When you look at everything, it is almost embarrassing that this was supposed to be the premiere event of the year and it is honestly pretty pathetic execution by Niantic,&#8221; they wrote. &#8220;The poor shiny yields were just the tip of the iceberg. &#8220;<\/p>\n<p><strong>And that&#8217;s all.
