The “new era” of Call of Duty (COD) is set to begin with the launch of the highly anticipated COD Modern Warfare 2 (2022)<\/a>. However, despite Activision not releasing any related franchise titles next year, the company seems hard at work on multiple other projects. <\/p>\n

More recently, a Twitter user brought a job listing for a Narrative Director on the Infinity Ward website to the attention of major leakers and news sources, suggesting that a new, unreleased AAA open-world RPG might be in development.<\/p>\n

In the Tweet, posted on 12th June 2022, the Twitter user highlighted various components of the official Infinity Ward job listing. In particular, they drew attention to specific responsibilities of the position, which included setting “the overall vision and direction for an unannounced AAA project.<\/strong>“<\/p>\n
