Lightyear is set to release in theaters in the United States on 17th June 2022.<\/p>\n

Chris Evans provides the voice for Buzz Lightyear in Lightyear. Evans has not voiced Buzz Lightyear in any of the previous Toy Story movies. <\/p>\n

    Lightyear has spawned some controversy in some countries because of Disney and Pixar’s decision to include a same-sex lesbian kiss in the animated movie. <\/p>\n

    In fact, the movie was banned in 14 different countries, according to the United Arab Emirates’ Media Regulatory Office, because of ““violation of the country’s media content standards.”<\/p>\n

    The United Arab Emirates criminalizes LGBT people and gay relationships. <\/p>\n
