Thor: Love and Thunder will be the 29th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and a direct sequel to Thor Ragnarok, released back in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>The latest sequel sees Thor seek peace and a purpose in his life. He drops his arms but gets challenged by Gorr, the God Butcher. The plot spices up with a Mjolnir-wielding Jane Foster looking to take the God of Thunder title and Valkyrie searching for someone to rule the New Asgard by her side.<\/p>\n<p>This is the best time to go through a few Marvel movies before Thor: Love and Thunder releases on the 7th of July. Played by Chris Hemsworth, the first film describes the origin and history of Thor. It has a lot of background stories about Asgard and Thor&rsquo;s family.<\/p>\n<p>Being the first movie of the series, it will prove to be a good starting point for anyone looking to learn about Thor as a character. For re-watchers, it will probably refresh their memory before they get ready for the new movie. In fact, the movie&rsquo;s main antagonist, Loki, is part of Thor&rsquo;s main story.<\/p>\n<p>The story describes Thor as earth&rsquo;s guardian standing between Loki&rsquo;s extra terrestrial army and the human civilization. The movie reveals Thor&rsquo;s love interest Jane Foster and his alliance with Loki to defend the Nine Realms against the Dark Elves. The fan-favorite Ragnarok is a funny yet extremely important piece of Thor&#8217;s puzzle.<\/p>\n<p>It sees Thor unite with his brother once again. Fans also witness Thor losing his hammer and getting stranded on the planet of Sakaar. There are clips and hints throughout the movies which indicate how everything will come together for a showdown.<\/p>\n<p>While Thor has his own revenge to take against Thanos, he also fights against him to defend everyone else from the obvious threat. We get to see a different side of Thor with a big fat belly and depressed personality.<\/p>\n<p>The sequel continues the story from Infinity War to challenge Thanos once again in the last-ditch effort to save everyone.
