Not only was some of the information leaked, but the skins themselves were released just an hour later, giving everyone access to the new cosmetics.<\/p>\n<p>Though there was no confirmation from Epic Games beforehand, it was only a matter of time before the Thor Love and Thunder skins were released within the Fortnite shop. Nearly every major Disney show and movie has a cosmetic drop within the Battle Royale, and the upcoming Thor movie may be one of the biggest this year. (Picture: Epic Games)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>As of 8 pm ET on 7thy July, the Thor Love and Thunder skins are available for purchase in the Fortnite shop. This skin drop happened just in time for the release of the actual movie, which is set for the next day on 8th July 2022. Unlike the skin release, the movie release times will depend on the region.<\/p>\n<p>One of the surprising aspects of the new Thor skins in Fortnite is the method of purchase. There is only a bundle that you can purchase, rather than individual items. Bundles are common to save some V-Bucks, but individual purchase options typically follow. You&#8217;ll need to spend 2,500 V-Bucks to get a hold of the items, which is par for the course in the Fortnite shop. In the bundle, you&#8217;ll get a whole set for Thor Odinson and the Mighty Thor, also known as Jane Foster.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/hyPnrHh0Iw68Mtil8aAJc47vDqDB0Usj_KVZUCKGG1I\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9Gb3J0bml0ZS9UaG9yL1Rob3JGb3J0bml0ZUxvYWQuanBn\" alt=\"Bundle Loading Screen\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption contenteditable=\"false\">The bundle features a new loading screen. (Picture: Epic Games)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Both of these skins are recreations of their characters from the movies and they have selectable styles. Not only can you choose to leave the cape on or off, but you can also select lightning charges on the skins. This will change their eyes and the effects that follow your character.<\/p>\n<p>As for their pickaxes, Odinson has Stormbreaker and Jane has Reformed Mjolnir. Both of these will also have selectable styles that can make them normal for fully charged with lightning. Just like the Thor in Chapter 2, they also have glider effects that utilize the hammers.<\/p>\n<p>The last part of the bundle is an Emote and a loading screen featuring the two heroes together in all their glory.
