As always, fans can expect to complete new event challenges, unlock a new seal, earn a new title, and gain exclusive rewards.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s Solstice of Heroes event will be different in a few ways. For instance, Bungie has renamed the event simply &#8220;Solstice.&#8221; In addition, the new Event Card system changes how players unlock new rewards. (Picture: Bungie)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Solstice event in Destiny 2 will start on <strong>19th July 2022<\/strong> at <strong>6 pm BST | 10 am PT | 1 pm ET<\/strong> following the Weekly Reset. Accordingly, the event will conclude on 16th August 2022. This means that players will have plenty of time to complete all the event challenges and claim all the exclusive new rewards.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Destiny 2 Solstice 2022 &#8211; Rewards And Activities<\/h2>\n<p>In it&#8217;s latest <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bungie.net\/en\/Explore\/Detail\/News\/51580\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">TWAB<\/a>, Bungie has given us our first look at this year&#8217;s Solstice armor set for every class. There&#8217;s also the new Solstice-exclusive Hand Cannon, though we haven&#8217;t gotten a glimpse of it yet.
