Season 1 of Netflix’s Resident Evil<\/a> recently dropped, and while it isn’t the best zombie series available on the streaming service, it’s arguably the best RE adaptation yet. <\/p>\n

Season 1 focuses primarily on establishing new characters in this unforgivable and familiar universe, and while we don’t see any familiar faces, there are a ton of neat references to every Resident Evil game.<\/p>\n

Things should be different in Resident Evil Season 2, and if you finished Season 1, you already know about one of the fan-favorite characters that are set to return. That said, here are the Resident Evil game characters we expect to see in season 2 of Netflix’s Resident Evil TV series.<\/p>\n

Ada Wong<\/h2>\n

The sultry spy, Ada Wong, is the only video game character confirmed to make an appearance in Resident Evil Season 2. At the end of Season 1, Billie and Jade’s dad send them off to find Wong, who’s somewhere in Akihabara, Japan. <\/p>\n

If Netflix is greenlighting Season 2 of Resident Evil, it would be interesting to see Ada Wong’s role in the young Weskers’ journey, especially since the real Wesker and Wong didn’t part ways on the right terms.<\/p>\n

Will Wong reveal Wesker’s past to them? Will she tell them about Wesker’s son and their sibling – Jake Muller? Most importantly, will this interaction influence Billie’s decision to join Umbrella?<\/p>\n

Wong’s appearance in season 2 of Netflix’s Resident Evil opens up so many unique possibilities, something that should excite veteran fans.<\/p>\n

Jake Muller<\/h2>\n

It would be absurd if the Wesker sisters do not meet the OG Wesker’s son – Jake Muller, at some point in the story. Wesker survived the events of Resident Evil 6, so we know he’s somewhere out there. 
A family reunion won’t be too far-fetched, especially since Jake was last seen in Europe, which is where the 2036 timeline of the series takes place.<\/p>\n

The Wesker siblings may even bond over their hatred for Albert Wesker and Umbrella corporations. <\/p>\n

Sherry Birkins<\/h2>\n

The young and fierce Sherry Birkin hasn’t been seen since the events of Resident Evil 6 though we do know she’s well and alive.<\/p>\n

The unexpected turn of events at the end of season 1 leaves the Wesker siblings in a traumatized state, and there’s no one better than Sherry (who experienced something similar at a young age) who would understand their pain.<\/p>\n

Sherry could be an ideal parent figure for the young Wesker siblings, similar to how Leon and Claire were for her. As for her, it wouldn’t be the first time she encounters a runaway Wesker who is wanted by Umbrella Corporation.<\/p>\n

Lady Dimitrescu<\/h2>\n

The big vampire lady from Resident Evil Village became an overnight sensation when the game’s trailer dropped. RE Village owes a lot to Lady Dimitrescu for its immense popularity and high sales, and Netflix’s Resident Evil could definitely use some of that.<\/p>\n

While Dimitrescu may have met an untimely demise in the RE Village, she could still appear in one of the series’ timelines. A high-octane action sequence featuring live-action Lady D could be exactly what Resident Evil season 2 needs for a good TRP. <\/p>\n

Moreover, to make things more authentic, the show could cast the original Lady D actress Maggi Robertson as she perfectly fits the live-action role.<\/p>\n

Leon Kennedy<\/h2>\n

The series veteran and everyone’s favorite ex-cop hasn’t appeared in the mainline Resident Evil games since 2012’s Resident Evil 6. Sure, he appeared in the RE 2 remake and will return in 2023’s Resident Evil 4 remake, but these appearances don’t necessarily quench the thirst of hardcore Resident Evil fans who are anxious about Leon’s current-day whereabouts.<\/p>\n
