If you want to download and unlock the Fire Virus type Digimon, Guilmon, early in Digimon Survive<\/a>, you’ve come to the right place. <\/p>\n

Despite some delays, Bandai Namco unleashed this hybrid visual novel and tactical RPG for PC and consoles on 29th July 2022. Set in a mysterious world filled with monsters players can befriend, the game will test your survival ability. To make things a little easier, you can unlock Guilmon early!<\/p>\n

This article outlines how you can quickly get Guilmon in Digimon Survive, unlocking and downloading it to use in deadly battles.<\/p>\n

How to Unlock Guilmon Early in Digimon Survive<\/h2>\n

If you purchase Digimon Survive in the first month of the game’s release, you will automatically get the Month One Digital Edition.<\/p>\n

This edition is a limited-time affair, available for only one month following the game’s 29th July 2022 release. <\/p>\n

    Those who purchase Digimon Survive within this first month get an extra, trainable monster called Guilmon. The Digimon fanbase should drool over Guilmon as it is a Fire Virus type with powerful abilities and attacks.<\/p>\n

    The thing is, Guilmon isn’t available right as you launch the game. Instead, players will need to complete the Equipment tutorial at the end of the game’s prologue.<\/p>\n

    This should take roughly one hour or a bit more. After this, the final step in unlocking Guilmon early in Digimon Survive is to open the main menu and select “Receive Bonus”. After this, Guilmon (level 1) will be added to your team.<\/p>\n

    If you purchase a digital copy of Digimon Survive and download the game, the free Guilmon will automatically be downloaded.<\/p>\n

    Unfortunately for those who purchase a physical copy of Digimon Survive, you might be out of luck.<\/p>\n

    While some publications report there could be a code in the physical editions, Bandai Namco confirmed in a tweet<\/a> (as per the image above) that Guilmon is only available in the Month One Digital Edition.<\/p>\n
