With the Diablo Immortal Season 3 update, Blizzard has added the Vote Kick feature, allowing players to vote on kicking a raid group or party member.

To use the Vote Kick feature in Diablo Immortal, players will have to wait until the game detects a raid or party member engaging in other in-game activities or continuously rejects the queue. This also goes for inactive players.

After some time (currently, exact timing is not available), the Vote Kick feature will become active, allowing others to start voting.

Kick inactive players or those who engage in other in-game activities, effectively holding up the queue. (Picture: Blizzard)

The vote must be unanimous for a player to get kicked from a party.

Blizzard explains why they added the Vote Kick feature in Diablo Immortal Season 3: “Vote to Kick is being added to streamline the experience of partying up with players. We have noticed that as soon as one player holds up the group, others start leaving, and then you’re left starting over from scratch.

“We see Vote to Kick as a way for the group to collectively remove those who are holding up the process and feel like this provides agency for a group of players to stick with getting an activity going as soon as possible.”

The Vote Kick feature in Diablo Immortal will only become active once a player is flagged by the game. While it is easy to use the Vote Kick feature in Diablo Immortal, it will take some time for the game to detect unwanted party member behavior. This system should stop players from abusing the system, kicking others simply because they don’t like a player name, for example.
