We&#8217;ve already seen the release of many popular titles such as Stray, as well as the landscape of the gaming industry changing after Sony finalized its acquisition of Bungie, and Microsoft moved forward with a massive Activision Blizzard deal.<\/p>\n<p>Among these recent developments, rumors have sprung up around EA, and the possibility of the company itself being acquired as well. (Picture: EA)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Andrew Wilson, the current CEO of Electronic Arts has come forward with a strong statement recently to shut these rumors down, stating that &#8220;[Electronic Arts] could not be in a stronger position as a standalone company than it currently is&#8221;.
