According to the recent information gathered on SteamDB, the peak concurrent player count for Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered was 66,436. This brings the game in second as its figure falls short of the PC version of God of War, which had 73,529 users at launch, but even so, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered outperformed Sony’s other Steam releases.

Horizon Zero Dawn had a concurrent player count of 56,557, while Days Gone had a much lower peak concurrent user count of 27,450. With all this in perspective, it makes Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Sony’s second-largest Steam launch.

At the time of writing, there are currently 49,438 people playing Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on Steam, and this number will likely be growing over the next few weeks. Due to the recent remaster, there will likely be many more players jumping onto the bandwagon, as the game grows in popularity among PC players. Although single-player games typically have their highest concurrent player count at or near launch, many PC players who didn’t play the game on the console might be willing to give the game a chance now.
