In addition, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/dead-by-daylight\/dead-by-daylight-ptb-albert-wesker-s-horrifying-mori-kill\">each Killer has its own unique Mori<\/a>, making the use of Mori specials exciting every single trial.<\/p>\n<p>While Moris are understandably popular among players, the developers at Behaviour Interactive believe that a Moris rework is long overdue. As a result, the developers plan to focus even more on the Mori animations in the future. (Picture: Behaviour Interactive)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Behaviour Interactive announced numerous game updates and changes in the Dead by Daylight Year 7 roadmap. One of those changes was the <a href=\"https:\/\/deadbydaylight.com\/news\/mori-rework\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Mori rework<\/a>, which they stated will likely release around <strong>Halloween 2022<\/strong>, provided there are no delays.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/dead-by-daylight\/how-to-redeem-dead-by-daylight-prime-gaming-reward\">How To Redeem Dead By Daylight Prime Gaming Reward (August 2022)<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/dead-by-daylight\/dead-by-daylight-project-w-resident-evil-voice-lines\">Dead By Daylight Project W &#8211; Which Resident Evil Characters Have Voice Lines?<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/dead-by-daylight\/dead-by-daylight-ghost-month-event-double-xp-rewards\"><strong>Dead By Daylight Ghost Month Event &#8211; Double XP, Rewards, More<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Currently, Killers can only perform a Mori if they bring a Mori offering, of which there are several types. Depending on the Killer&#8217;s offering, they can choose to either kill the last Survivor, kill a Survivor who has reached the Second Hook state, or kill all Survivors who have reached the Second Hook state.<\/p>\n<h2>Dead by Daylight Mori Rework &#8211; What to expect?<\/h2>\n<p>With the upcoming reworked Mori system, Moris will no longer require Killers to bring offerings in Dead by Daylight. Instead, the Killer will instantly perform a Mori on the final Survivor once they are put into the Dying state.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/lR0qC0BJUlEUJ_aHnBP0YHujjh5VizF53GEk1cqq0nw\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9EZWFkX2J5X0RheWxpZ2h0L2RiZC1zdXJ2aXZvdHMtZTE2MzE2MzQ5NTMyOTMuanBn\" alt=\"survivors dead by daylight\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption contenteditable=\"false\">After the update, the focus during the Mori will be all on the Mori, with no other distractions. (Picture: Behaviour Interactive)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&#8220;Following a visual transition, that Survivor and the Killer are brought to a special location in the environment, and the Mori Finisher begins,&#8221; the developer road map update explained. &#8220;No longer will your Mori moment be &#8216;censored&#8217; by inconveniently placed objects or invasive bushes. All attention will be placed entirely on the action taking place.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s unknown how this will affect the hatch system in Dead by Daylight, as, currently, the last Survivor has the opportunity to crawl out through the hatch in the Dying state.
