As it stands,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/multiversus\/banana-guard-unlock\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Banana Guard<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/multiversus\/jason-voorhees-unlock\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jason Voorhees<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/multiversus\/the-joker-voiced-mark-hamill\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Joker,<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/multiversus\/agent-smith-unlock\">Agent Smith<\/a>&#8216;s inclusion bring the tally to 27 fighters available as playable characters <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/multiversus\/launch-date-content-beta-progress\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">following its launch on 28th May 2024<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Players can unlock them in multiple ways, but if you&rsquo;re trying to save money, you can try to play them for free through the Character Rotation feature in MultiVersus. This feature carries over from the Open Beta period, when periodically, a wave of playable characters became freely playable, allowing players to decide whether to buy the character using their in-game currency.<\/p>\n<p>It&rsquo;s important to note that once the rotation period ends, they will be locked until their next rotation or permanently acquired. All progression you&#8217;ve made with characters during the MultiVersus Character Rotation <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/multiversus\/status\/1552041189708275713\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">will be saved and carried over<\/a> once they are back on rotation.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, if you haven&#8217;t <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/multiversus\/multiversus-season-1-new-characters-unlock\">unlocked all the characters<\/a>, your progress will remain intact and carry over once they&#8217;re unlocked. Unlocking characters can be achieved by meeting specific prerequisites or purchasing them from the Fighter Store using the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/multiversus\/fighter-currency\">new Fighter currency<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/multiversus\/how-to-get-multiversus-gleamium-price\">Gleamium<\/a>, or remaining Character Tickets.<\/p>\n<p>However, this does not include <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/multiversus\/status\/1552041814965850112\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">progression made in the Lab<\/a> game mode, as this merely serves as a training room for players.
