With jaw-dropping visuals, powerful narrative, and nail-biting stealth combat, A Plague Tale: Requiem is the definitive linear single-player story-driven game on Xbox Game Pass this holiday season.

From exploring desolate castles to being trapped in a nightmarish fever dream, these classic first-person psychological horror games are sure to give you a palpitating experience.

Shinji Mikami is considered the father of survival horror, and The Evil Within 2 is a stark example of how a modern AAA survival horror experience should be. <\/p>\n

The Evil Within 2 switches things up from its predecessor by throwing you into a semi-open-world playground that works surprisingly well for a survival horror game. Add to that some terrifying enemies and intense boss battles, and The Evil Within 2 becomes one of the most wholesome AAA survival horror experiences on Game Pass.

Atlus’ modern magnum opus – Persona 5 Royal has finally arrived on Xbox consoles and Xbox Game Pass. The definitive version of the fifth entry in the long-running JRPG series offers some of the best stories in video games, not to mention one of the easiest to get into and satisfying turn-based combat systems.
Add to that the spectacular jazz-infused soundtrack and strong vocal performances from the entire cast, and you have one of the greatest video games of all time.
