The release of Genshin Impact’s 3.0 update<\/a> is just days away as Travelers anticipate making their long-awaited journey to Sumeru. Reaching the region’s city can be achieved in a handful of ways; however, HoYoverse has yet to confirm how we can reach the new region.<\/p>\n

But while many are gearing up for the exciting adventures that lie ahead, few Travelers may have outlined the route to this region. This guide explores plausible theories regarding how we can travel to Sumeru in the Genshin Impact 3.0 update.<\/p>\n

How To Reach Sumeru In Genshin Impact?<\/h2>\n

With nothing confirmed by the developer as of writing, we’ll be basing our theories on two specific leaks briefly detailed by two different dataminers. According to a prominent Genshin Impact source, UBatcha, geographically, Sumeru is to the left of The Chasm in Liyue<\/a> as the underground section<\/a> is possibly connected to Sumeru.<\/p>\n

This theory was explored by YouTube channel SteezyZ<\/a> revealed that Cinnabar Cliff has a tunnel that can be accessed from a Statue of the Seven gliding down and heading right from this POI. When traveling along the tunnel<\/a>, the Traveler will experience some red flashes on the mini-map, which alludes that you cannot travel along this path, well, not exactly yet.<\/p>\n

This will also prompt Paimon to inform you that the area to which the tunnel is connected isn’t available. “How about we explore the area ahead of us later?<\/a>” Paimon will inform you, but it’s unclear if the 3.0 update will add new POIs inside The Chasm to link up with Sumeru.<\/p>\n
