This speculation comes after a trademark filing surfaced online for a variation of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/multiversus\/multiversus-bugs-bunny-guide-perks-moves-specials\">Bugs Bunny character<\/a> to be used in-game.<\/p>\n<p>Whether Big Chungus will be a new playable character or another cosmetic for Bugs Bunny has yet to be determined, but it sparked plenty of debate. As of writing, there has been no official statement or confirmation from publisher Warner Bros. Games regarding the trademark.<\/p>\n<h2>Will MultiVersus Add Big Chungus To Character Roster?<\/h2>\n<p>Video Games Chronicle reporter, Andrew Marmo, shared on Twitter on 27th August 2022 that Warner Bros. Games may add another character to MultiVersus&rsquo; expanding roster. According to a screenshot attached to the Tweet, it appears that the publisher had filed a trademark for the Bugs Bunny meme, Big Chungus.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-twitter-extracted-i1661777862683820366=\"true\" data-twitter-extracted-i1661778011008640856=\"true\" data-twitter-extracted-i1661778854339138336=\"true\" data-twitter-extracted-i1661779356148744386=\"true\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Warner Bros. trademark Big Chungus for use of a video game. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/T9tTg9jrko\">pic.twitter.com\/T9tTg9jrko<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Andrew Marmo (@the_marmolade) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/the_marmolade\/status\/1563584952406380548?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 27, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\n<script src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" async><\/script>\n<\/p>\n<p>It also showed that the filing was made on 26th August 2022, allowing the publisher to utilize the character in-game when approved. Additionally, this could mean that Big Chungus will either be a new playable character or something else entirely for MultiVersus.<\/p>\n<p>This isn&rsquo;t specified in the trademark filing, as they can use the character in any manner possible, so nothing is off the table.
