Destiny 2 players and devs are going gold supporting Childhood Cancer Awareness month.<\/p>\n

The support for this cause began when a Destiny 2 player posted on Dadstiny, a Facebook group for dads who play Destiny, about losing their eldest child to cancer.<\/p>\n

“The September before losing her, was the first time I started asking those of you who would, to go gold for the month of September as it’s Childhood Cancer Awareness month and gold is the colour associated with it. No monetary gains here, just a supportive gesture asked by one dad to others. So I am asking again if you would, my fellow dads and Guardians to please join me and go gold for the month of September. It would be awesome to see a tower of gold titans, hunters and warlocks,” he said.<\/p>\n

Naturally, the post was circulated across social media, including Reddit and Twitter. It didn’t take long for it to go viral, especially after notable streamer Anne Munition retweeted it. <\/p>\n
