In Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll find that energy is one of the most important resources you have despite it not having anything tangible. Exhaustion recovery and energy are the basis for completing a full day of work when you adventure around the valley.

Unlike most games, energy isn’t a mechanic that runs out and instantly refills. Doing most tasks in Dreamlight Valley will cost some energy. This includes objectives such as mining or even clearing Night Thorns. Every time you complete a similar task, your blue energy bar will deplete. This doesn’t count tasks like harvesting, but most activities will exhaust you to some degree.

Your energy won’t recover on its own, but there are a couple of ways to completely refill your blue bar. The easiest way is to go into your home. Anytime you enter your house, your character will be rested and will regain all of the missing energy. But that requires you to stop your tasks and head back to the house.
