Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4, aka Fortnite Paradise, has arrived alongside a new mysterious entity – Chrome, which is both a boon and a bane for players. <\/p>\n

Chrome has infested the battle royale<\/a> island, but what exactly is it, how can players use it to their advantage, and most importantly, where can they find them?<\/p>\n

Narratively, there’s not much to go on Chrome except that it’s engulfing the island, and there’s no concrete way to fight it. Gameplay-wise, however, Chrome adds new ways to fight and survive in the battle royale. <\/p>\n

Players can use Chrome Splash to open up new traversal options. Throwing a Chrome Splash on a wall will make it penetrable, allowing players to jump through player-built structures or regular walls to get a jump on them.
Players can also throw Chrome Splash on themselves to Chrome-ify themselves for a short amount of time. Sprinting when Chrome-ified will turn players into a blob, allowing them to move faster and air dash. Chrome-ified players will also be immune to fall damage and fire damage.<\/p>\n
