In the upcoming Genshin Impact 3.1 update, King Deshret and the Three Magi<\/a> will plunge Travelers into the heart of the Sumeru desert to uncover the mysteries of an ancient civilization hidden in the Great Red Sand. Despite its harsh and humid weather, the desert is also home to several new creatures and biomes<\/a> that thrive under these conditions.<\/p>\n

Some of these creatures may be familiar, but with the new biomes, they are an integral part of the desert area’s ecosystem. We’ll look at all the new desert creatures and biomes set to debut in the Genshin Impact 3.1 update.<\/p>\n

All Creatures & Living Beings In Genshin Impact 3.1<\/h2>\n

The Desert Sumpter Beast<\/strong> is like the cousin to the Shaggy Sumpter Beast many encountered in the rainforests of Sumeru. These large and robust creatures have adapted to extreme conditions. Still, they are frequently seen carrying luggage and goods of the Akademiya researchers or avid travelers venturing out in the desert.<\/p>\n

When traveling across the mountainous dunes, another creature, although deadly, Travelers will likely spot the Scorpion<\/strong>. Like in the real world, the venomous arthropods rest below the sandstone and can attack if threatened, so be careful of your movements.<\/p>\n

Another unique creature that calls the Great Red Sand its home is the scavenger Red Vulture<\/strong> in Genshin Impact 3.1. With its large wingspan and bright red feathers, this bird mainly survives on the remains of living beings that succumbed to the desert heat.<\/p>\n

The Scarab<\/strong> may be diminutive in size, but this little insect can be found scurrying across the sandy desert of Genshin Impact’s Sumeru region. If Travelers pay special close attention to its unique shell design, the patterns resemble the markings one can see inside ruins hidden in the desert.<\/p>\n
