For those who are able to get into the Overwatch 2 servers despite the DDoS attacks<\/a>, you might be taking rank in the competitive mode of the game. Here, the gameplay gets intense and players are fighting to reach the highest rank possible.<\/p>\n

You might have noticed that you have earned a collection of Competitive Points (CP) while you were playing. Here, we go over how you get CP to use for in-game rewards<\/a> in Overwatch 2.<\/p>\n

How To Earn CP And What To Spend It On<\/strong><\/h2>\n

CP is a currency that you will earn through playing in competitive mode in Overwatch 2. Those who have played Overwatch 1 will automatically have access to Competitive in Overwatch 2. But those who did not play Overwatch 1 will have to go through the First-Time User Experience (FTUE)<\/a> program to play Competitive mode.<\/p>\n

FTUE is Blizzard’s way of easing new players to Overwatch 2. To get into Competitive mode, you will need to win 50 Quick Play<\/strong> matches. Not just play 50 Quick Play matches, but win them. It is a high barrier but it will prepare new players for Competitive gameplay.<\/p>\n
