Mercy’s super jump originally started as an exploit that players utilized and eventually became a staple of Mercy’s gameplay pattern for experienced players. It is one of the only mechanics Mercy players had to learn.<\/p>\n

With the release of Overwatch 2, Mercy’s super jump is an official mechanic, and it is available for all players to access, not just the more experienced players. Mercy’s changes are detailed in their most recent balance update<\/a>. The two Overwatch 2 betas saw multiple versions of Mercy’s super jump but now with the full release on the 4th of October, the devs have finally settled on the current version.<\/p>\n

Mercy is one of the easier heroes when it comes to mechanics. Her mechanics are all about timing more than aim. Previous Mercy super jump and guardian angel slingshot required you to input certain controls at a specific time.<\/p>\n
