Overwatch 2 introduced a major shake-up to its Competitive Ranking System. The most notable change saw each Skill Tier comprise distinct Divisions, ranging from the lowest tier (Division 5) to the highest tier (Division 1). This change is also different for Role Queue<\/a> and Open Queue. The second major change saw players no longer receiving rank updates after every game. This guide will discuss everything about the new Overwatch 2 Ranks and Divisions.<\/p>\n

All Overwatch 2 Rank Tiers And Divisions<\/h2>\n

Regarding the Skill Tiers, nothing has changed in Overwatch 2. They still rank from Bronze to the Top 500. Instead, the big change is the addition of Divisions. In the past, you needed to accumulate 500 SR to rank up. Overwatch 2 is similar since there are 5 Divisions, and Blizzard confirmed they are roughly 100 SR each. The Top 500 Tier does not have Divisions.<\/p>\n
